    The Bite is a sexploitaion film directed by erotica film director Hiroshi Mukai (Tokyo Deep Throat) under the alias Kan Mukai in 1965. It has been transferred to DVD from its original 35MM print and has a run time of 63 mins. The DVD has been released by Cinema Epoch in its Grindhouse Sexploitaion Collection.

    The Bite is about a young Japanese gigolo Koichi who is payed to find beautiful young woman to take home and make love to. What the women don't know is that they are being watched by his madam and her wealthy clients. Koichi's madam pays him well and provides him with luxuries like new suits and fancy cars.

    One day Koichi is given the task of getting a beautiful young waitress from the coffee shop to come home and sleep with him. After being with her the two start to develop feelings for each other and eventually fall in love. When Koichi's tells his madam that he is finished she takes all of his luxuries away and he is left with nothing.

    When Koichi's mother falls ill and needs an expensive operation to survive, he has no choice but to resume his old career behind his loves back. But he doesn't off that easy, as his madam removes the painting on the wall that reveals a two way mirror, Koichi sees his love getting it on with another man for her clients to watch. Koichi seeks his own revenge on his madam by taking the closest thing to her heart.

    The film didn't do too much for me but you gotta consider the fact that it is the original version of the 1965 film that has been poorly dubbed in English. The sex scenes were equally bad but then again it is 1965 and im not sure what kind of limits there were to push in Japanese cinema then.
