1967 an eclectic group of homosexuals decide to throw a party for Philip,
the most flamboyant of the group. He dates an unfaithful guy Billy,
that will let anyone go down on him The other members of this gay troupe
include the party organizer host Stan, Stan’s buff boyfriend Billy,
a dry witted and miserable queen named Randal, the shy guy Joseph and
Randal’s promiscuous boyfriend Gary.

a while the party seems normal until Gary and Billy break free from
there group for some man action. In the scenes previous to the one I
am about to mention they spend their time galloping around gleefully
and splashing each other during their romantic swims. Soon on their
second date during Philips birthday bash they begin being naughty until
they notice a severed arm on the beach. After the group hears Gary’s
screeching scream they all go to check out the area.
this party Bobby is no where to be seen. Is he the zombie doing all
the flesh eating? Take a open minded look and find out. The film has
a lot of crass humor and plenty of one liners like “Well are we gonna
stand up her with our dicks up our asses”, “Make a wish you putrid
pole smoker”, “Fuck you Fucking Gay Zombies” and plenty more quotes
during casual conversations in the film and the action scenes as well.
was expecting this to be more of a gay sci-fi spoof but instead it was
a zombie experience that will never be duplicated. The characters were
all gay stereotypes but the dialog was delivered well with a laugh per
minute. While the ending wasn’t all that fabulous and some of the
dancing zombie stuff irritated me I still couldn’t resist the vulgar
wit of this film that I think all homophobes should watch! It doesn’t
push the gay stuff to a sleaze level but every character in the movie
is gay including a cop that lets Gary blow him. The film is shot in
a black and white a pays a decent tribute to films of old whether it
be Ed Wood’s hack jobs, George A. Romero’s “Night of the Living
Dead” and a title that borrows all too heavily from “Creatures From
the Black Lagoon”.
ready to play some water sports with the boys, enjoy the constant gay
banter, admire the low budget charm and the fairly decent zombie, gays
dancing to show tunes, pink filtered point of view shots of flaming
zombies and a shitload gigantic dildos. Funny performances, quality
look for a digital film and oddly for its storyline it is tight and
well structured at 71 minutes. Watch gays cheat on each other, form
new relationships, gossip and team together to take out zombies that
play for the pink team!
I don’t know which writer wrote the dialog but I got to give credit
to both Chris Diani and Basil Harris for coming up with a wacky story
filled with hilariously blue humor. Add zombies to the mix and you got
a zombie film made for the Bravo Network.
