"The Sexperts" is in black & white & is about a writer,a director & a producer sitting in an office, planning to make a nudie movie. As they plan things out, the storyline is acted out onscreen. The movie is narrated in typical corny sixties fashion which is amusing. There are three quick nudie "inserts" cut into the film which are shot in "brilliant Eastman color"! There is a good jazzy soundtrack & lots of hipster dialog. The filmmakers are recreating the tired tale of two young girls coming to the big city to become famous actresses on Broadway. One girl (Rusty Allen) is good, the other girl (Lana Lynn) is willing to do whatever & whoever she has to to suceed. The girls end up at a beatnik party in Greenwich Village. When the party turns into an orgy, the girls must decide whether to stay or leave. The End.
There is virtually no action at all in the movie except for the quick nudie inserts, which are very tame. The best part of the whole movie is when Audrey Campbell from the legendary "Olga" series does a bump'n'grind striptease at the Greeniwich Village party. Audrey Campbell movies are pretty hard to find, so her presence in the movie makes it worth owning. Extras include rare TV spots of Audrey Campbell which are more entertaining than "The Sexperts".
Both female leads Rusty Allen & Lana Lynn appeared in nudies made by David Friedman & HerschellGordon Lewis. Davee Decker, star of Doris Wishman's "Diary Of A Nudist" also makes an appearance. The director, Jerald Intrator worked under several pseudonyms, in this instance "J. Nehemiah". He went on to distribute Shaun Costello's infamous "Forced Entry" under the name "Jeraldo Stuarti" in the seventies. Because of these facts, I certainly respect the historical value of "The Sexperts", it just wasn't very entertaining. Retro-Seduction Cinema includes a second disc of "Naughty Nudes '65" loops & a nice booklet that do make a nice package.
